Made to measure suits
Tailor Made London make bespoke suits not made to measure suits. The difference between bespoke and made to measure suits is to do with the pattern that the cloth is cut from. Made to measure suits are cut from a standard pattern size so if you normally wear a size 40 jacket then your made to measure suits will be cut to a size 40 dimensions and then altered slightly to suit your shape. In Bespoke tailoring the pattern is cut using the individual measurements of the customer, which is normally between 10 and 15 measurements. Tailor Made London, however, creates the pattern using thousands of measurements of 3 dimensional data.
Clearly Tailor Made London suits are superior to the regular made to measure alternatives. Made to measure suits are okay if you are lucky enough to be a standard size and shape but unfortunately not many people are. For instance, some of our clients are rugby players; they have the problem of having larger neck widths in relation to their body or arm length, which makes it impossible to find an (off the peg) made to measure suits or shirts that will fit properly.
The problem is that the arms will be too long for the correct neck size or the neck size will be too small for the correct shirt or arm length. In addition to the superior fit, another reason to choose bespoke suits over made to measure suits is that you can personalise every detail of a Tailor Made London suit to your exact tastes. Made to measure suits, on the other hand, can only be personalised to a very limited extent.
